Overhaul

Overhaul

Process Introduction

Overhaul is a comprehensive preventive maintenance process that involves fully disassembling production equipment for inspection and maintenance, restoring it to optimal performance. It is a critical maintenance activity that maintains mechanical precision and operational stability, helping ensure long-term production competitiveness.

Work Information
Work Introduction

During long-term operation, wear gradually accumulates in key drive and control components, leading to a progressive decline in equipment performance. Based on the expected service life of each component, the Manufacturing Engineering Team fully disassembles and inspects the equipment and proactively replaces aging parts to prevent unexpected failures and maintain performance comparable to its original factory condition.

Work Details
  • Before disassembly, mark key assembly positions and record critical operating data such as pressure and position values.
  • Disassemble the equipment step by step and thoroughly inspect the drive and mechanical components for wear.
  • Replace key components such as cylinders, timing pulleys, timing belts, air hoses, solenoid valves, and shafts.
  • Clean key components and remove contaminants to ensure an optimal operating environment.
  • Reassemble the equipment based on reference data and restore alignment and operational precision.
  • Perform test runs and mass production monitoring to compare performance before and after replacement and verify equipment stability.
Work Results
  • Restore mechanical precision to maintain stable process quality.
  • Replace aging components to minimize the risk of unexpected failures and production downtime.
  • Reduce quality variations and defect rates caused by equipment performance degradation.
  • Extend equipment service life and contribute to reducing maintenance costs.
  • Improve production stability and equipment reliability to support continuous mass production.
