MPGA TEST

MPGA TEST

Process Introduction

The MPGA TEST process is an HBM-specific Final Test process that verifies the electrical characteristics and interconnection reliability of fully stacked HBM packages. It checks whether tens of thousands of micro-interconnections are properly connected and classifies the products according to their performance grades.

Work Information
Work Introduction

HBM products feature multi-layer stacked structures and ultra-fine interconnections, making the stability of the test environment critically important. Any degradation in the precision of the Stacker, Loader, or Stage equipment may reduce test reliability and lead to incorrect test results. Preventive maintenance is therefore performed to maintain a stable and reliable test environment.

Work Details
  • Inspect the Stacker equipment to maintain a stable product supply environment.
  • Manage the Loader equipment to prevent errors during product transfer.
  • Inspect the precision of the Test Stage to ensure stable contact conditions.
  • Perform internal equipment cleaning to minimize contamination and particle generation.
  • Regularly replace raw materials and consumables to maintain consistent test quality.
  • Inspect key drive components and control systems to ensure equipment stability.
Work Results
  • Improve the reliability and accuracy of test results.
  • Minimize electrical test errors and incorrect judgments.
  • Ensure quality reliability through consistent product classification.
  • Prevent production losses caused by equipment failures.
  • Contribute to strengthening the final quality assurance system for HBM products.
