Process Introduction

The WaterJet process is a cleaning process that sprays high-pressure DI Water onto the upper and lower surfaces of the product to remove residual or adhered Flux remaining after the Reflow process. It ensures product cleanliness, supporting stable subsequent inspection and assembly processes.

Work Introduction

If Flux and moisture accumulate on the Rollers, O-Rings, Gears, Chains, and Bearings of the WaterJet equipment, they may cause corrosion, wear, increased drive resistance, and product transfer failures. The Roller Assembly is disassembled in sequence to inspect components for wear and corrosion, internal contaminants are removed, and necessary consumable parts are replaced, followed by a Dummy Test. This process helps maintain stable product transfer and cleaning performance while reducing the risk of equipment failure and production downtime.

Work Details
  • Disassemble the Roller Assembly in the high-pressure spray section in sequence.
  • Record the assembly position of each component and store the removed parts in the same order.
  • Inspect the Rollers, O-Rings, Gears, and Bearings for wear and corrosion, and replace them as necessary.
  • Clean Flux and contaminants accumulated around component mounting areas and inside the equipment.
  • Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly and verify manual operation.
  • Load a Test Dummy to perform a final check of product transfer and cleaning performance.
