Carrier Box
Process Introduction
The Carrier Box process involves cleaning and maintaining Tote Boxes used to safely store and transport products and materials within the cleanroom. It helps maintain a clean transportation environment, preventing products from coming into contact with external contaminants during material handling and transfer.
Work Information
If Dust, particles, or foreign contaminants remain inside or outside the Carrier Box, or if the Box is damaged, cross-contamination of products may occur during transportation and cleanroom cleanliness may be compromised. The inside and outside of the Box are thoroughly cleaned using Wet Wipers and Dry Wipers, while contaminants in narrow areas are removed using dedicated tools. The Box is then inspected for damage and cleaning condition. This process helps prevent the introduction of external particles during material handling and maintains product and process cleanliness.
- Remove Dust, particles, and foreign contaminants from the inside and outside of the Carrier Box.
- Thoroughly clean hard-to-reach areas such as corners and grooves using dedicated cleaning tools.
- Remove adhered contaminants and residues from the Box surface to maintain cleanliness.
- Remove residual moisture and ensure the Box is completely dry.
- Inspect the internal and external cleaning condition and check for any remaining contaminants.
- Inspect for damage, cracks, and deformation and identify defective Boxes.
- Store cleaned Carrier Boxes in designated areas to prevent recontamination.
- Prevent cross-contamination from particles and foreign materials during material handling and transportation.
- Maintain consistent cleanliness of materials entering and leaving the cleanroom.
- Prevent the reuse of damaged Boxes, reducing the risk of product damage and transportation-related incidents.
- Improve Carrier Box management reliability through cleaning history and quantity tracking.
